          Satyamev Jayate (Truth Alone Prevails) is an Indian TV talk show that airs on various channels within Star Network along with Doordarshan's DD National. The show premiered on May 6, 2012 and marked the television debut of Indian Bollywood actor and filmmaker Aamir Khan. While Hindi is the primary language of the show, it is also dubbed and simulcast in several other Indian languages such as Bengali, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu. Upon its premiere, the show received positive reviews from both the critics and the public. Film celebrities and politicians also praised the show for bringing out social issues in front of public. The first episode was based on female foeticide in India and the show urged the Government of India to take action against the people who were shown in the programme through sting operation and also to take actions to stop illegal practice of female foeticide.

Apart from Asianet, the show will also have simulcast on STAR World, STAR Utsav, STAR Pravah, STAR Jalsha, Star Plus and STAR Vijay within the STAR Network and other channels including DD National and Eenadu TV. Besides India the show also aired to over 100 countries around the world
